ABOUT

This is a book born out of necessity. I, alongside many other women, was frustrated that so many guys seemingly had no idea what they were doing down there. Most experiences were underwhelming at best, and painful at worst. I noticed a huge disconnect between how good guys think they are (or want to be) at finger banging vs how much pleasure the ladies are actually receiving; after years of bad experiences and countless conversations with friends who felt the same way, I realized something had to change.

I’ve always been passionate about consent, communication, and pleasure, and I’ve never been shy talking about it. So when my best friend and I came up with the ridiculous idea to write a book called Finger Banging for Climber Boys—a joke about guys being strong but lacking technique—it stuck.

Because underneath the humor is something very real and very important. I can’t tell you how many women see the book and immediately say, “oh my god THANK YOU.”

There’s a huge gap when it comes to understanding female pleasure, and it’s not just men. Many women don’t fully understand what they want or how to ask for it, either. My goal is to inspire more people to brave "awkward" or "uncomfortable" conversations around sex: I want more women to feel empowered to vocalize their needs, and I want more men slowing down and tuning in. I believe we can fix this pleasure disparity through education and communication, and this book is here to facilitate that.

What started as a joke turned into a mission to make sex ed more fun and approachable, normalize taboo conversations, and help people communicate, explore, and create more good times for all! And while I never set out to become a sex educator or the author of a finger banging manual (defs not on my bingo card), I am positively delighted to be here.
